The Best & Worst Catwalkers

And incredibly awkward too..

She looks like she doesn't know what to do with her arms, she doesn't spend a long time giving a pose at the end of the runway either - she's off as quick as she can! :(

I'm not a fan of Suvi's walk either. In fact, in the second half of the vid, her right arm looks almost paralyzed in that vid:ninja: The left sways, but the right just barely moves.

Suvi does NOT have a catwalk, she just has a walk. Theres no association between her walk and the catwalk.

Well said. I remember watching her open Prada SS07. It was awkward:doh:

I also can't stand Lara Stone's walk either.

I know! No matter how many time and how many angles you look at her walk it is just non-fashion.

For me, Freja depends. Sometimes it's good, sometimes it just isn't so good.
Of course, I say hats off to all the girls who walked that show in those impossible looking shoes. ;)

^^ the balenciaga was specially tricky... since the shoes were a bit :ninja:

^I don't think Ghesquiere has designed shoes that allowed for easy walking. I remember the season afterwards even Poly was tipped off balance by his shoes.

And I feel very strange that she graduated from a MODEL SCHOOL! Don't they teach how to do catwalk?

I can't understand that either. But a lot (NOT ALL) of the new models imo can't walk properly. They're always too stiff and bland or lack spirit and energy sometimes.

The catwalk should be the first thing they look for in a model. After her looks of course

agreed. i think, in general, it's easier to make a model look good in an editorial. it's 2D and can be manipulated before it reaches the audience.

but if a model walks really badly i.e. Lara Stone - it doesn't matter how gorgeous she is, because the terrible way they walk just smashes the illusion of beauty.

why no-one can teach her how to walk properly, if not in a signature style ala Angela Lindvall, or at least with confidence always makes me wonder.

Well said Cut Copy. :flower:

A bad walk really can ruin a good impression of a model.

A model who can't walk is like a singer who can't perform live. Yeah, they look great on the cover:rolleyes: (or sound cool on the CD) but when you actually see them it's :ninja::yuk:.

like everyone, i love Natasha Poly's walk, but one walk unmentioned that i do adore is SHALOM HARLOW,even though i'm not even big on walks  I love how she turns her body & you can see the beauty asthetic of that strong, swan-like neck

Freja & Snejana do have awkward walks. . i admit, but again like i said i'm not really big on walks :innocent:
