The Clash

thanks for the picture, i love this band. they had such a strong presence and their style was amazing. all the shirts joe stenciled and everything. i found the thickest book on them at the bookstore the other day and the photographs were AMAZING.

also, i've been listening to white man in hammersmith palais so much these days

actually, it wasn´t Joe who made the shirts...
Alex Michon made all their clothes http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alex_Michon

is it the huge pink book? it´s amazing...
you should check out Pennie Smith´s book "Before & After". it´s awesome. (I happen to own 2... :P)

The Clash set for 'London Calling' re-release
Seminal album to be reissued in December
The Clash have announced that they are re-releasing their classic album 'London Calling'.

Hitting shelves on December 14, the '30th Anniversary Legacy Edition' comes 5 years after the '25th Anniversary Edition' of the album was released.

Full details on how the releases will differ are yet to be confirmed, but a CD/DVD package is expected.

Meanwhile The Clash's Mick Jones and Topper Headon have been back in the studio after 27 years. The pair came together last month to record a chairty version of their 1979 song 'Jail Guitar Doors'.
