It reminds me of that awful online shopping editorial Meisel did for Vogue Italia. If you're going to do simple portraits they need to pop. The subjects are just standing there like mannequins. They missed the perfect opportunity to do something fun and original.

I love the Exactitude series by Ari Versluis and Ellie Uyttenbroek. They really are masters in documenting and photographing subcultures. But I’m not really sure it works as a cover for a magazine.

A better collage layout would've done more justice for these pictures.

Looks like those pictures they take during the final fitting before a runway show when models are tired and hungry.
