Shadowplay plays in Dior Homme Sport ad background. I don't get why they choosed Jude when they could easily use Brandon.. .

Have you guys got any ELO covers planned?
I know that we’re going to do a covers record, eventually, and we’ll each pick two or three songs, and Ronnie will inevitably choose an ELO song.

What are you going to choose?
I can’t decide yet. My list changes all the time, but I know “Girls Just Want to Have Fun” I want to do. We’ve done it live, but it was written for a man to sing, originally. I learned this from [VH1 program] “Pop Up Video.” And it’s genius because it’s really arrogant, because this guy’s mom and dad are asking him what he’s going to do with his life and his answer is just “Girls just want to have fun.” But Cyndi Lauper really did it better than anybody else could have, but I always thought that would be a fun one. Also, I love “Stretch Out and Wait” by the Smiths. That was the first time I ever noticed something sexual in music, and it always stuck with me. I almost felt guilty when I listened to it, but I love it. It’s a beautiful song.

Do you guys ever try new stuff on the road?
Not really. I’m always writing songs, but the last couple months have been a lot of festivals so we don’t have soundchecks to mess around. We did write a Christmas song with Wild Light, that band from New Hampshire. Every year we do a Christmas song, and every year it’s a duet. And this one is going to be called “Happy Birthday, Guadalupe.” I think it’s our best Christmas song.

..
Are we human or are we dancer?
I think we’re getting closer and closer to human every day.

i dont think he would do that tho, if u read the interview i posted, hes obviously on about acting but he says 'I get annoyed with people that leapfrog around like that. It's like taking advantage of a situation that you've been given. If I were an actor, I'd be pissed if I saw a musician trying to act....' i think he likes sticking to what he does as a musician and thats about it

i wish he would model tho, CK underwear pls

The Killers, Grizzly Bear confirmed for 'Twilight Saga: New Moon' soundtrackListen: Death Cab For Cutie's 'Meet Me on the Equinox' in its entirety; complete soundtrack to be revealed tomorrow
Representatives for The Killers and Grizzly Bear have confirmed that each will be included on the "Twilight Saga: New Moon" soundtrack, according to an article in the New York Times.
"New Moon" music supervisor Alexandra Patsavas, who also crafts the music playlists behind "Gossip Girl" and "Grey's Anatomy," sat down with the newspaper to chat about crafting the tracklist, which will be revealed unto the world tomorrow (Sept. 18).
Patsavas declined to comment on the two above mentioned bands, and mentioned she was "confident" that Thom Yorke, Bon Iver and Band of Skulls -- three acts that "New Moon" director Chris Weitz exclusively revealed to HitFix as participants -- would be in the final cut.
"This is a much more somber movie than 'Twilight,'" Patsavas said of the first film. "There is a lot of love lost, so the artists that are going to make up the soundtrack reflect that longing - a lot of acoustic instruments, a lot of a cappella singing. This soundtrack definitely feels a bit more indie than the last one."
Her company/label Chop Shop is releasing the album on Oct. 20, in conjunction with Atlantic.
We've already tried to tell you a few times what a phenomenal band Grizzly Bear is. Plus, the band has gotten some love from Jay-Z and Beyonce, and even had a song makeover by none other than Michael McDonald.
As many "Twilight" junkies know, Death Cab For Cutie's "Meet Me on the Equinox" -- the soundtrack's first single -- was released to MTV during the MTV VMAs on Sunday. Listen to the whole track below.
