Me too, but it is because I am a boy. Well, they have a mens line, but you get what I mean.

Who would be your preference, irulan, if you could pick one or two designers to dress exclusively from? I am curious.

^lol, I'd love to see that though... I like some Lanvin designs, but I think they are incredibly ill-fitted when taken off the runway. I've tried on a few dresses every now and then, and nothing ever fits right. Same when you see celebs in Lanvin.

Exclusively, that's hard. If I had to choose two, I guess it would have to be Ghesquière and Jacobs. But I hope I will never have to make that decision.

Aaah Ghesquiere... who else does a girl need really? He is supreme.

I love Jacobs too, of course, but he is a little inconsistent, and not the greatest dress maker. Excellent choices. Hopefully nobody has to make such a decision, but admit it; it is fun to put yourself in the corner sometimes, and confess. lol.

Jacobs doesn't do good dresses, you're right, but you can wear Balenciaga ones with Jacobs jackets.

It's a fresh idea. Something most people have never seen before, so they appreciate the beauty and creativity that went into it.

I love McQueen and everything he does. He is one of the few designers that really speak to my taste and personality. I love things that are more eccentric and edgy, so he fills that void for me.

He is the King of Avant Garde, IMO.

I never understood what was so great about those gowns.

The shapes are really nice, though nothing extra-ordinary really, but the brushstrokes on the third violet one is too robust for my taste. I prefer more elegant color and effect combinations. They seem too loud for their own good. And I usually like loud. The Sasha and Snejana ones are a far more sophisticated with their color combo.

And in the end, it's just that old gown that Dolce&Gabbana do every single season only that this time someone splattered some colour on it.

Something of my want-it-so-bad list are these Christopher Kane dresses. They are - I think - the epitome of the modern day dress. Sublime is the perfect word for them.

I always loved those dresses^. Extremely creative. I wonder what the fabric was...

Weren't there other versions as well? I should check them out again. I also like the shoes, yet their heels look a little low for some reason.

^there are numerous versions of them, a few with very clever cut-outs. I love how the print is continued on the shoes.
I love the print in general. It took me some time to decide whether there should be mushroom clouds on dresses, though...
