I distinctly remember these two collections (Nina Ricci Spring 09 and Alexander McQueen Fall 08) for really beautiful dresses. There was a dress that I stole my heart a few years ago but I don't remember the designer or the model... :(

Christian Dior Haute Couture is sometimes just too painful to see, it's more than beautiful. It's grand, it has a personality of its own.
The Couture Fall 2005 collection is especially one of my fvaourites  S/S 07 too!!

John is one of the best dressmakers today-he's with Donatella, Karl and Alber. I love the flaws with his clothes, too. I think that when things are too perfect within their aesthetic, it gets boring (like with Alexander McQueen).
Not to mention he's just the Master of the Bias Cut
The way John presents all of his clothes is just phenomenal. It's like with him it's not that he's just an artist: he's an entertainer

i love love love MJ's dress wore by many celebs, also used in GG... its simple dress, but, boy, that dress is so pretty!
tried to find it everywhere online, but nothing...well, maybe one day...

This is one of the most incredible dresses I've seen. It's so gothic and lush at the same time. I love the color of the fuschia lilies (?) set against the leathery black fabric of the dress, which is styled with full corset and flowing skirt. There's also a vein of poison dark green running along the bodice. The construction and detailing are superb.

And look at how the lilies are wilting!
