Theatrical, unapologetic, reckless. Emotionally charged. No second thoughts in sight. Ruven the Boss Afanador. Kristen's close-up is a nuke to the heart. Shakespearean.

Loved Kristen and Tessa's performances, and their covers. Thought Ruth was just alright in Passing, but I love her and her cover. Will Smith's performance in King Richard is grossly overrated and I hate his expression on his cover.

Benedict Cucumber's cover is the only good one. The rest is just awful. Kristen's jaw is living it's own life as usual.

The use of hands in this series is a lesson in symbolism. Bodies remain covered, but the parts that we do see are shown to us for a reason: Tessa's arms and feet are active, are working, have meaning. Afanador has these actors in front of him and directs them so that nothing they can give is not received, or goes to waste. Bring on the body rhetoric, the drama. Ditch the celebrity, bring back the thespian.

love them all! such depth and drama!
I hope we will see more of Ruven
