The 'Person Below You' #4

Stella McCartney and Erdem are both labels that seem peaceful in a way.
Well Christian Dior Fall 2011 collection was certainly clumsy and sporadic but I don't think it was slow. It was more of a whirlwind of crazy.
I think I would still try to continue to dance even if I was told I couldn't (well... actually this has happened to me... so...), to tell people my feelings even if they weren't reciprocated, and to try to write a novel. I think the act of trying to do something might be more important then actually succeeding in doing it. I'd rather fail then never try at all.

What was the last interesting conversation you had about?
Name someone famous who you think would make a great best friend?
And I hope you don't mind Toccata but I loved this question :flower:; What would you do, if you knew you would fail? What effort is worth the defeat?

How fantastic are these questions?

It was a political debate about capitalism and socialism relating to the Wall Street protests and just governments in general.
Martin Luther (of 1625) or Edgar Allan Poe. Both were incredibly influential and intelligent.
Running for president. That would be quite interesting. And totally worth the failure.

Same Questions

Intellectually interesting was about the Arts Council funding cuts. On a totally different level, fantastic gossip about someone from a premiere at LFF which I could never repeat!<I'm well aware that's probably driving you nuts right now, sorry!

Oscar Wilde. The ultimate GBF!

Fall in love. (I am currently very much in love but should the occasion arise, I'm willing to give it another go, failure or not)

Same questions

Discussion why English people did not want the ID cards which for example are mandatory in Lithuania.
Probably, Alexa Chung. She seems like very witty, friendly and outgoing person.
Model. The whole industry seems very interesting to me but I know that being part of it would not be good for me since I am not that strong-willed and I would probably wander off some bad ways and take some bad examples.

Toccata's question: What would you do, if you knew you would fail?
If you could trade places with anyone in the whole world - who would you trade with?
What have you heard about Lithuania? (Don't use google! Be honest!)

Thanks

Saving someone's life
With his current gf... :(
Lithunia is a republic within Europe and when I was a kid I used to confuse it a lot with Latvia ;)

The same 2 first questions
If you could go back in time and fix just one thing you did/didn'd do, what would it be?
Posted via Mobile Device

- Play the World Cup. :p My NT has never qualifyied so I know we would fail, either way the experience would be something to remember.
- I would trade places with Olga Sherer's boyfriend.:stuart:
- I would get my schedule well organized and bring my Id to my University exam, and pass it.

Same questions.

Really nothing, I wouldn't like to know that I fail in advance.
With an editorial booking editor of a European culture or fashion magazine.
I wish I would have been more ambitious and quick-witted at the age of 14 or 15.

TPBM
What are you most proud of?
If you could go back in time and fix just one thing you did/didn'd do, what would it be?
What is your worst character trait?

I'm very persistent. I've been in situations where others would have probably given up a long time ago.
I would go back to high school and work myself to the bone so I could at least try to get into UC Berkeley or Stanford.
This is entwined with the thing I am most proud of, I can be very stubborn.

To leave as a record for your loved ones or future children/nieces/nephews, you have the opportunity to allow a fashion photographer to film a year of your life and a model to both narrate and interview you from time to time over that year, which fashion photographer and which model do you choose?

Which museum (art, history, anything) would you want to spend a night locked inside of?

Who is your favorite fashion writer?

Tim Walker and Lily Cole
I love the Musée d'Orsay in Paris. I'd love to spend a night walking the halls visiting my favorite Impressionist works.
I think Robin Givhan is a smart fashion writer and I tend to enjoy what's she's written.

same q's :flower:

Amy Poehler.... on the set of Parks and Rec!
I like how I'm always willing to listen to someone who needs to talk and I like my hair color.
I really dislike my feet and how I can be awkward at times because I can be terrible at starting up a conversation with someone.

TPBM
What is one life lesson you have learned from a book?
Do you like being spontaneous or having a set plan when traveling?
What is the most profound quote you've ever herd or read?

To listen to your head, never your heart.
I'd love to be spontatneous of course, but having a set plan saves time, money and pain.
"Innocent until proven guilty"

What's your favourite genre of literature and what is it that makes you enjoy it the most?
Which historical event do you think is the most significant in the past 500 years?
Do you like apples? lol

Magical realism because it seems to encapsulate every possibility in fiction.
Gosh, possibly the invention of the airplane, or evolution of it into mass-transport because of what it's enabled. Or micro-wave popcorn.
Yes!

same q's (sorry, but they're good!)

Historical/Classic literature, because I just love reading stories set in the past. It just adds an extra element of wonder to them.

Probably the abolition of slavery or the passage of the 19th amendment. Actually the constitution in general was pretty important. Also, the declaration of independence. That's a hard question. lol.

Yes, I love apples. It's my favorite fruit.

TPBM
Same questions. They're really good. :)

I love historical fiction because they are such fun to read. Plus as a history nerd I like reading stories based on past events.
Oh... this is such a tricky question to answer! Ermm... I'd say in American history probably one of the most significant was constitution for without that we wouldn't exist as a country. But in general I'd also say WWI really changed the world because it was unlike any other war before it but it also sparked so many new changes in society too (like the end of most aristocratic families and the beginning of the self-made man).
Yes they are delicious... although I only like red ones because green is too sour for me.

TPBM
What is one change you wish you could enact in our society?
What movie always makes you cry and why?
Whats your favorite type of sweets?

I wish we women could learn to love ourselves more.
American History X, the ending when the brother dies is so heartbreaking.
I love gummy candy and sour straws.

TPBM
same questions :)

- I wish people would understand that our rights are given by God not the goverment. Stop complaining, being a citizen (of whatever country) is not a right is a responsability.
- Toy Story 3, the end is heartbreaking.
- Chocolate.

TPBM
Same questions

Remove redundant things like political correctness and obsession with fame. And try to educate kids, rather than just school them.
I don't think I've ever cried during a movie. Though I had major tears when I watched Mao's Last Dancer when he saw his parents again. That was so emotional.
Baklava. I drool just thinking about it.

Which side of the fence do you stand politically?
Which political figure do you want to see leave his/her position?
What is one law do you think the world can do without?
