The Tudors

I just started watching Season 1 and I really like it.I usually like all the movies and tv shows about that part of english history,it's very interesting. As far as Jonathan's act...I'm not a big fan of it,he just doesn't fit into it,imo.

I'm the biggest fan of The Tudors I know! I'm sooooooooo excited for Season 4. *fangirl scream*

^^Yeah I know!

Watched the season 3 finale on TV yesterday (I even stayed up very late for that, it was on in the middle of the night! *duh* I did rue that today, as I fell alseep several times during classes this morning *oops LOL*, but the episode was AMAZING!!!! SO HOT!! ) and I can't wait for them to show season 4!! Hope it'll happen SOON!!

Maria Doyla Kennedy and Natalie Dormer were spotted on set, filming the dream sequence that will appear in the final episode, probably Henry's dream before his death.

^ Oh that's great....thanks:flower:
Happy that they will both be there......still miss them.

Actually, only Maria Doyle Kennedy was spotted on the set. No sign of Natalie :(

From www.reuters.com:
"The Borgias" will air in spring 2011 and replace Showtime's hit steamy English period drama "The Tudors," whose fourth and final season starts in April.

^^Oh, sorry, my mistake.

And I was just going to post the thing about The Borgias! You guys have no idea how excited I am! I found out from Passages to the Past. This news made my day. Apparently Rodrigo Borgia will be played by Jeremy Irons. Michael Hirst will be writer, of course.

Torrance Coombs will play Thomas Culpepper (the real love of Kitty Howard)

I read the Six Wives of Henry VIII by Alison Weir a few years ago & I really enjoyed it. Has anyone else read it?

I LOVE Alison Weir, she has a singular writing style which I enjoy very much. My favourite is Elizabeth the Queen, I highly recommend it.

anyone watch the season 4 premiere already? feel bad for the newest queen already. she's irritating at best but still feel bad.

I did watch and I have to say that Katherine Howard is so damn irritating :S lmao. Okay, I understand that she's 16 or so...but she's getting on my nerves. Definitely not her fan. :P I also can't understand why ppl compare her to Anne Boleyn? Anne Boleyn was way better than KAtherine and not so stupid as her. :]

Thanks for the season 4 teaser trailer! :woot:
Does anyone know when it makes it way to England?
Also, thanks for the author reccommendation, I too always been a fan of that era since primary school!
