Looking to sleeken Eighties streetwear with the modernism of the Nineties, Olivier Theyskens’ latest collection offered lots of wardrobe staples in innovative fabrics and shapes. A jumpsuit in a beautiful watercolor print appeared to have a shirt tied at its waist but was actually one piece. T-shirts had drop backs and luxe suede was cut into relaxed rompers and track pants. “Resort is really about essentials that speak to modern life,” said the designer.

he sure loves using "that" particular angle of the camera for his resort/pre-fall photoshoots lol.

Gorgeous stuff though.. I love that I get such a 'feeling' when I look at the clothes. Maybe a texture thing?? Anyway I love it and would wear every single outfit.

Looks good, not much different than usual, which is fine. I love the tie front multi-coloured short skirt bottom of #6 - the whole look is great- with the boots too.

Yeah, he's not offering anything new with this collection but I'm fine with it too since I always love what he does. My favorite looks are the first one, the leather jacket & leather shots ensemble and the gorgeous mini dress in the 2nd picture in post #7.
I was a bit confused about those Robert Pattinson/Kristen Stewart kind of looks at first:

But now I find them kind of cool

Another great collection, The more I look at it, the more I love it ^_^

he does this modern, cool, but not desperate thing perfectly. it's always so....well-executed and well-made. i'll take one of each, Mr. Theyskens

all of them really

throughout the whole thing, i can't stop thinking that basically all models would love to wear that, day in, day out. hell, most even ARE wearing that stuff. what i can say about Theysken's Theory is that he really works with the proportions and small details. although i do prefer his more fitted cuts over the overlong and oversized ones.

i see nothing remotely wrong with this Resort collection. I  every single thing. Its just so easy. I cant imagine any woman not wanting at least one thing from this
