This is one of those labels that I could never wear but I could look at it all day. Very nice, original details. Why don't they get the same hype as other designers?

I really don't know how to say if their collection is good or bad, even compare different seasons of their work. but in their own language, it's a lot stiffer than before. paisley collage is amazing still though.

you know it's a very legitimate question given all the sameness we see so much in NY. but frankly they are probably one of the few more interesting labels going on. and they've been at it for well over a decade now.

i love those cocoon jackets though. i would wear one in a minute. to be honest it's no different than any of those funnel neck pieces that rick owens produces and i've seen those on the streets before so it's not entirely inaccessible....you just have to know how to interpret it. and there's a lot going on here too in terms of layering so you'll likely discover things you didn't see and for me i love that. it's like a lovely surprise.

It seems like if someone like Anna Wintour got behind this label they could be another Rodarte. There's no reason why this label should be a hidden gem in NY.
