For summer 07, hair were pull back in a very futuristic way. Sleek would be the word for it.

Whether it was ponytails, buns or anything in between, hair are entirely pulled back from the face using hair products to not miss a single hair.

The result: more focus on spring/summers beautiful fresh faces.

I don't really like it. It's too harsh for me. I might be biased though, because I have little wispy hairs around my face that I know would be impossible to pull back. Plus, I think my head is kinda big.

great trendspotting as always, kim!

I love this look on most people..unfortunately, I had to keep it for nearly 10 years in school..since they were pretty strict on hair [among other different things  ].. i quit gel several years ago with the only hope of never having to get back on it. :ninja:

me too, i love this look ..simple but sophisticated but my face is kinda big...

I like it how they do it in Marc Jacobs. I like clean hair-do's, but having your hair so sleek against your scalp is not the best look for everyone. Especially if you have very thin hair it doesn't look good. But other than that, I like this very much! After the bed head-hair trend this is much better.

i love this look and wear it a lot, but i don't use hair products like pomade or wax which make the hair look wet and slimy. don't like that.

It's beautiful on the models, but it carries more dangers than the bedhead look. I'm afraid it'll give me a moonface, highlight that my ears sprout away from my head quite a bit and the skin on my forehead is soooo bad :( It's not even red-acne-craters bad but those hairdos really highlight the forehead

I have been doing that for years. It's so easy. I tie my hair into a bun, set it with conditioner, and I'm off. I do it before I go to sleep too, it looks cute the day after. Kind of like a messy updo.

Sweet! This is how I always wear my hair! I am so ahead of my time. :P

Honestly, this is the only way I can wear my hair that looks good without spending hours on it every day...my hair really sucks. I just can't wear it down without it looking frizzy and ******** and I have to use hairspray when I wear it up or else I get little strands falling down not just at the front but all over that turn into clumps that look ********.

But yeah...ahead of my time. Woohoo!

I'm not big on slicking it back with gel but a beautiful ponytail is sooo effortless and pretty!

I love the hair like that but I noticed another trend in the pictures that Kim posted. Thick ugly eyebrows. I don't like eyebrows super thin but I don't like them as bushy as the first few pictures.

Full eyebrows has been hot for over a year. I love full eyebrows, they give the face a lot more character :flower:
