The work of photographer Tim Elkaïm is sober, yet radical in its efficiency. His tightly framed and carefully composed images break with our customary ways of seeing, offering a unique and fragmented perspective of our world and the objects that occupy it.
Educated at the l’Académie Royale des Beaux-Arts de Bruxelles, followed by a Masters from L’Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Arts Décoratifs de Paris, Elkaïm's first official commission was for Double, which evolved into a fruitful, creative collaboration over the next few years.
Since then, he has worked for magazines such as The Gentlewoman, AnOther, Noon, Self Service and M Le Monde, as well as clients such as A.P.C., Jil Sander, Hermès, Céline, Louis Vuitton, Jimmy Choo, McQ and COS.
