ah Dale Mercer is Tinsley's mom and Dabney must be her sister. What odd names. Dabney?! I didn't realize that. It's funny I thought Dale Mercer looked like such a park avenue maven but she doesn't even live there! Well she might have a home there now, but she's not from there, etc. Her sister kind of looks like Carrie Underwood to me....

it is common to use family names (and maiden names esp.) in the South. Dabney was just slammed in a editorial in Vogue responding to her comments on the Catholic Church during Lauren Santo Domingo's wedding. Dabney is also one of the people who sued Lizzie Grubman in her Hampton's scandal awhile back. Mrs. Mercer lives in Richmond.
