News broke this morning that socialite and former reality show star Tinsley Mortimer has landed a book deal with Simon & Schuster. Her reality show High Society has been canceled, so she'll have plenty of time to write.
NY Post has the scoop: "Sources say the socialite/handbag designer inked a deal with Simon & Schuster for a novel. The Tinz has written long form before, having contributed a chapter on 'interpersonal skills' to 2008's "The Park Avenue Diet," by Dr. Stuart Fisher.
To introduce our readers to Mortimer's prose stylings, we've rounded up a few of Mortimer's tweets. She tweeted a bit of literary criticism: "Eat Pray my boyfriend can't speak english!!" More recently, she wrote about her life: "Having dinner at Cafeteria now. Tomorrow the diet starts!! "

Tinsley Mortimer, said to be one of the most famous faces in New York, is a socialite fashion designer turned reality TV star. She looked stunning in a stylish navy white striped bikini with gold ruffled trim as she enjoyed a day at the beach with her boyfriend, Brian Mozza in Miami, Florida. All eyes were on her amazing figure.
