Tod's F/W 2025.26 Milan

I expect a little bit more pragmatism from a brand like Tod’s.
People are going to Tod’s for shoes and bags so the clothes should be simple but impactful enough and the styling should be pragmatic.

When it gets too fashion with layering and things like that, I’m lost.

To be honest, I loved it, I'm here for the dramatic outerwear like a Jedi-inspired look

Well, they (or maybe just him) want to be part of the fashion conversation... How many brands are just happy to be pragmatic and selling? I think of Loro Piana, Brunello Cucinelli or Max Mara but that much.

Well maybe, they should try harder to have a distinctive voice.
And to have both is not impossible. Tomas Maier at BV did exactly that.
It was pragmatic but different enough to have a voice and be part of the fashion conversation. So much that when you compare the percentage of fashion compared to accessories in terms of sales, it was rather surprising.

What do people remember from TM’s era? His clothes…
