I just like this. It has a bit a quirkiness that surprised me. It also seemed that the clothing is very detailed from the fabrics to the prints to the laser cutting and studding..some of the bags are great too. There are alot of references in the collection, but it doesn't matter a lot to be honest...

I think this is a great collection. I personally hate loafers but she makes me want to buy them! She took a very posh middle-class brand and turned into something interisting without compromising it.

Diego Della Valle. Tod's. Chefdesigner Alessandra Facchinetti, the daughter of Roby Facchinetti. Italian industials and childer of famous musicians.
In 2007 Alessandra Facchinetti was appointed the creative director at Maison Valentino, on the retirement of Valentino. After short time, in 2008 she was dismissed from Valentino.
Previously she worked, she was designer at Gucci for 7 years ( if i don't mistake)

Tod's is famous about shoes, exactly about mocassins. I'm wondering who will buy the clothes from Tod's ?
If i need mocassins first Label i see is Tod's.
But Diego Della Valle can permitt himself to expand the Brand making clothes. Maybe he must take a really good designer instead Facchinetti.

I don't know, i liked Tod's mocassins before.
to tell the truth i'm very surprised that Diegeo Della Valle started make the men- and also womenwear.
The bags i like.
But the prices are not cheap, if i must choose between Tod's bag and for example ,classic LV, i'll buy LV.

i know what you mean in terms of quality but hate LV's monogrammed stuff though..so faked. tod's is not very faked, it's for the people who like less obvious branding (like myself B))

Maybe i simply don't like Diego Della Valle and Fachinetti "children" , it seems for me as some kind of protégé in this (and not only) case... but back to fashion , i "visited" Tod's online shop and when i saw all this bags , it is really for old grannies , for very reach old grannies!!!!! middle Price is about 1600 euro!!!!
And winter 2015-16 only grannies bags, all of them. Some bags costs more that 2000 euro, for this Prices can buy less obvious and obvious brandings.
Anyway, this kind of bags, from Tod's catwalks, i didn't find in online shop. I like it too , the bags are not bad at all!
