from oct 24 to Nov. 14...i heard it was actually going to be cut down to two weeks (instead of the usual 6 ) but i guess even that is asking too much of them

I'm looking forward too the collection from Soe (showing on the 7th of november...) as well as the jeanswear from MasterMind Japan (showing on the same date as above)...

unfortunately the tokyo collections dont get as much love as those in the west so there's no source (that i know of) such as style.com etc to see the entire collections right after they appear. most brands nowadays have websites and they put a nice selection of photos up, as well as yomiuri newspaper online http://www.yomiuri.co.jp/dy/ often has features all during fashion week showcasing some of the bigger shows the day after they happen

this is what i hear...that the shows are "open to the public" but im not sure how true this really is..(??). i notice that they shuffle a lot of kids into the back to watch from there but i often see them with special invites too... mainly customers i think. although, i think that if you went to a show and said you were an avid fan and a customer, they might let you in for standing room only~
