I've seen this on a couple of websites so I'm presuming it's the new campaign...

I loooooved Anna's campaign, but this one looks every inch the Tom Ford hotness too!

Me neither, I like the one from 2010 with Anna Jagodzinska much better.

There is nothing about Mirte that says "Tom Ford" to me. She must have really left an impression on him because he continues to work with her. Nevertheless, as with her beauty ads for the brand, she looks more uncomfortable than sexy.

Oooh, I kinda like this. Of course it's hard to judge from a small shot but to me this looks like a pretty good representation of what the fragrance is like. I like that it skews kind of 70s.

My god what is his obsession with Mirte? She's the exact opposite of Tom Ford glamour imo. Karlie, Chanel, Edita, Lais, Anais M, or Sui would have been better choices.

Julia's campaign is still the one which makes me squeal inside

I agree! I also think Erykah Badu's campaign was quite perfect.

I think she's evoking quite some glamour in her Tom Ford ads, better than Chanel Iman for example could do.
I think people are judging her on what she looks like in candids/runway, but I personally think she a pretty good model who can transform in front of the camera.

Well its more than obvious that the majority agrees on her being miscast in this ad. ;)

I agree on the point of Mirte being the wrong contender for this campaign and I would of preferred seeing someone like Julianne Moore or Carolyn Murphy, but the suggestion of Chanel Iman as the face of Black Orchid? I couldn't think of a worse candidate, I was even surprised Tom took Chanel to the MET (knowing that, he probably had her jaw wired shut for the night *I'm joking*) but I do get where this ad was meant to be going, I just don't think Mirte does sexy, she's got an intriguing face but just not one that screams 'sexy'.

Also, Mirte is wearing Spring Summer 2012.

Maybe you are right, I just don't understand why people here have a prejudice against her. This is so unfair.

I can't say it's an upgrade from Anna J's, but it's a different campaign from a different direction, and we have to move on. Surely this would look great in print. ^_^

Not to be condescending but I always find these "so-and-so is not a Tom Ford/Versace/Gucci girl" comments a little strange when, clearly, the person whose opinion matters most feels that they are. And not for anything, Ford hasn't always gone for typically "sexy" girls in his career, not on his runways and not in his campaigns. If anything he's usually gone for more striking/edgy beauties than typically sexy/beautiful types.

The more I look at this ad, the more Mirte reminds me of Rie Rassmussen. It's not a dead-on similarity, but their coloring and the glare Mirte is giving has a bit of Rie to it, and who was the person who helped launch Rie's career after all?

I don't know why but I'm getting 90's vibe from Mirte.

Despite my general feeling of indifference to Mirte, I find this actually to be the most appealing Black Orchid ad campaign yet. She's simply smoldering here!

I think it looks really good and so does Mirte in it, can't wait to see the bigger shot.

I like it. Mirte transformed from a sweetie girl to a bombshell!

Gorgeous, I find this to be the exact aesthetic I demand from Tom Ford, I love it.
