he has a very strong look going on and it definitely screams tom ford. at the same time he needs to work with different looks before it starts getting old and tired, sort of like his curse look that made him and gucci famous.

And Mullet, while I agree about Liliana not looking her best here, don't forgot that the first time she worked for Tom was for the YSL f/w 01 campaign which she looked stunning in.

agreed. but dont say gay. id say his poses arent masculine. I really hate the way he's posing, it's really detracting from the clothes.
HOWEVER
THAT WOMAN IS FRICKIN *GORGEOUS* I LOVE HER. SHE LOOKS LIKE MY SISTER. does anyonoe else notice she's eating a piece of chicken, that is so hilarious.

spike, I do remember her YSL campaign, it's one of my favorites, although I should say the Tom that debuted at YSL was very restrained in comparison to the liberty he had at Gucci and let's not mention the one he's enjoying on his own right now.. and when I say restrained I mean that his creativity wasn't conveniently overshadowed by his sexual fantasies, he had legacy to sell and sex was more of an ingredient.. not to mention the sense that some people might've wanted to strangle him that made him want to please a not-so-trashy crowd at the time..
I could've sworn I posted here not long ago but anyways, can he drop the sex? Why does he feel that he can't sell his designs without somewhat sexing things up? It's not "OMG" anymore, it's just boring and unoriginal. What is the purpose of a woman posing seductively with her breasts popping out of her bra in an ad that is meant to sell glasses? Okay Tom Ford you can get away with having a woman be made as an object in an advertisement! Can you stop now? I'm completely comfortable with nudity but I find his ads offensive and stupid. It's trashy, and I know thats the point but please it's not cool anymore, it never was. Does he think because he's gay he can get away with it?

No no, it's directed towards two other posters who commented on one of his earlier comments
.I like the ads even the boobed up girl...mostly because the glasses look wicked and my credit card is trying to jump out of my wallet. I love the main campaign too which looks even better in print. Nothing about it seems "gay" to me unless it's because he has his hands on his hips...? At best he looks dandyish and polished and I, for one, appreciate Ford not going for the typical "hunky, sleek men walking down a road/away from the private jet with briefcases looking very absorbed and important" that usually dominates the men's campaigns.

and btw, they made a very poor job photoshopping the chair out, they removed part of her body in the second photo...

^^^ good eyes, i didn't see that till you posted them side to side. I don't get it though, if they wanted her body positioned like that, why didn't they just get her to do something similar instead of photoshopping ?

I now think those are two photos actually, I later noticed that her hair does look slightly different (on her right side). They probably just changed the glasses and she tilted her head a little bit but didn't move her body... It's not very creative though, to use almost the same picture for two ads...
