Tom Ford F/W 2015.16 Los Angeles

Felt nostalgic as soon as it started raining rose pedals...

Solid collection, it offered a little bit of everything. The solid black pieces reminded me of Gucci F/W 2002. Evening wear was so bold and exquisite. Only thing missing for me were veteran models.

This is possibly one of his worst collection's, in all of the years i have been following his work, i don't remember ever hating one of his collections so much, and so many of the looks. 95% of this is pure nonsense.

The last 4 dresses and the middle section are great but the rest..... Cheetah/Jaguar and denim....

I like the second part/post, but the rest is awful. Even the accessories look horrible.

This reminds me a lot of the Chanel Dallas collection. I thought the first part of the show was quite nice, especially the blue looks but the ugly leopard and color prints were a big no no for me.

Not feeling the denim bottoms. Is that denim & velvet? Not a great match. As jackets I can still accept.

to me half collection is really bad, i hate the animalier part and the (velvet?)print on skirts and dresses :\
but Joan and Karlie looks amazing

It's 2001 all over again. Why Los Angeles by the way?

Huge NO from the very beginning. WTF is this $hit.

Some of Lisa Eisner for TF necklaces make me think of Lara Bohnic...

I actually like this. What I disliked about Tom Ford since his return was how try-hard his comeback seemed. It's like he felt the need to go 'all out there' with overtly sexy clothes which, let's be honest looked overworked and cheap, and this is restrained and very well designed. I agree not everything works, but most of it is wearable clothes which will look fabulous once they hit stores, especially the outerwear.

On another note, can I just say how impressed I am by his front row? Tom Ford proved that only award shows and Tom Ford can gather all of Hollywood in one place, so kudos to him.

Is Tom Ford serious?! If so, F/W 2015 is shaping up to be the season of reckoning for many of fashion's suppopsed big names. Velour and denim? What 70s B film was he watching to be inspired by this?

Something in the mood and styling stages made me think too of Karl's Dallas collection for Chanel. The décolleté made me think of Pucci. And as someone said, a lot of this just looks dated. In sum, the disparate parts lack congruence resulting in a collection that's unsightly, untidy and desperate.

I love this so much! For me it's his best collection since he came back to womenswear. It's fun, it's tacky but still quite chic.
