Most of it: Great!! And for real grown up people (with lots of money, alas!) I could do without some of the leather t-shirts and the two open jersey dresses but the colours are insane as per usual for HA. A mint green suit with this kind of rich orange brown wool coat? YES!

Solid collection. Maybe too… European for a brand like Tom Ford. I also missed more sparkle (sort of expected to see more items similar to what came after Liu’s ensemble). Menswear was great.

Gosh this show screamed luxury. He managed to be himself and yet be Tom Ford. There is elegance and opulence and it’s sexy but not vulgar. Loved it !

Disaster.
Worst show of the seasons, I knew it was going to be a flop. Terrible runway and coreography...Who thought having models walking on the side and going in front of camera was a good idea?
People were expecting HA x JPG 2.0 and instead they got another iteration of intellectual minimalism LOL

Too cold, too sterile for me. I miss the TF’s energy, the irreverence, the bad taste.

It was a lot of Haider/Berluti by Haider and not so much of TF. It was also a lot of what he did at JPG which is supposed to be based on JPG’s codes so I am confused…

Better than Hawkins but a miss for me. Even though beautiful looks.

And question : does he only know two type of shoes?

Did it also feel to you as a commentary on the current bleak state of the world? I couldn't help but see all these ghosts of socialites, WASPS, party girls and gays of 1970s and 80s New York, like an elegy to an America that no longer is... I loved it. It was so powerful, so well executed, so well-tailored.

GORGEOUS. Finally an opulent, luxurious, grown up collection, with models that look stunning, with a real make up and a real hairdressing. Love the posing, the movement, the sensuality. Best show in years, I'm totally in awe.

It's not a bad show, but it's not Tom Ford. It lacked sequins, disco, vintage, music, and it was too austere in a way.

Ackermann definitely captured the spirit of Tom Ford. It is a beautiful and luxurious collection. The color palette is stunning and model casting is great.

J’adore!
Very somber, very Tom Ford after dark. It did reminded me a little bit of the mood of the Gucci envy fragrance commercial with Georgina.
Surprisingly, he went back to some 90’s Tom Ford. I saw some 1997/1999 Gucci.
And I also saw a lot of Tom Ford codes like the fringe column gown on Karen.

It’s very European, something that Tom Ford was at Gucci and YSL and less at his own brand. For that it looks more modern, more urban.

That burgundy coat, those suits, the tailoring and most of the daywear were perfect.

I was less convinced by the gowns. The jersey dresses are indeed very Tom Ford but they lacked something. Also surprised to not see furs.

I also loved the accessories and the presentation. It needed to be better choreographed though.

It’s not perfect but it’s a fantastic debut. And with this collection, I can say that he is at the right place.
I can’t wait to see how he is going to evolve at Tom Ford!

And Haider himself looked fabulous taking his bow!

The collection was pretty but not something I will remember in a week, Haider has already done this many times before.
The show was a tragedy though. They need to stop with the complicated runways. I hated the inconsistent pace. Some models almost bumped into each other.
