Tom Ford F/W 2025.26 Paris

If the suit were in a nice sharkskin suiting fabric, it would be far better. There’s something about a satin suit that no matter how nice it is, in reality it just makes for a bad decision. Creases so easily (like linen) and doesn’t mould as nicely under steam.

I like the base cut and silhouette of this, I think it’s just the wrong fabric. Haider does love his satin so I think we’ll be seeing more of this though.

I keep thinking of a frigid amphibian predator as the Haider woman/man. Perfectly suited for our times?

I like the cold colours, but I'm unsure how well he will appeal to normies who have no interest in design or highbrow propositions.

The collection is not giving at all...terrible fabric that wrinkles easily, the length of the pants and the general fit. If I were Tom Ford I would be ashamed of my name being associated to this terrible man suit.

Most of the Gen X mens designers struggle with how to do a 90's/Gen Z full width pant but luckily for them and us the pendulum moved back to straight/slim fit. Haider looks like a toddler in his pants at the end of the runway and is wearing the wrong toe shape with them.

If he wants to grow into this brand he's going to have to drop Jacob K who is making this look like a darker Versace. I loved his Berluti (and Tom did too) so maybe bring back MAS. In the 10's you'd find his stuff on the sales racks for 80%-95% off because only Tilda Swinton looked good in his womens clothes, maybe MAS would at least help the runway look like it was designed for 2 women instead of 1.
