^ This reminds me why she's the Fashion Director of American Vogue. I love that they took the minimalism trend to the Mojave Desert. Lindbergh + Tonne is a great tandem and I don't care if it looks 'too Harper's Bazaar'.

Having been a long time fan of the always impeccable, always amazing fashion editor, Tonne Goodman, it made happy to read that the Council of Fashion Designers of America awarded her a very well deserved Eleanor Lambert Award this month.


Having worked in fashion for the last 40 years, first off as a model, then as a stylist with legends Diana Vreeland, Liz Tilberis and Anna Wintour, she has collaborated on some of the most memorable shoots……her work in Harper’s Bazaar in the nineties had a profound impact on how I saw fashion, and in the Style.com interview below they show several of these spreads, she is interviewed by fellow legend Paul Cavaco…….


I also love this late sixties ad she did, I found it a few years ago in an old Seventeen magazine….and it immediately stood out….she had the refinement of a Vogue model….I love the very clean, modern, classic, Celine aspect to her look….this is a style signature she has always maintained….but there she is, all of sixteen, light years ahead of everyone…..destined for Vogue of course!
