I've got my invites from Mackage, Pink Tartan, and Comrags which I am very excited about! I also can't wait for the media cocktail and opening night party with 'Don't Tell My Booker' and the GSUS show!

But I will be in attendance all week and at all shows with the exception of Monday and the After-Party's on the 16th.

I will be writing reviews for my fashion section with FilthMag, an upcoming arts/fashion e-zine dedicated to promote underground, emerging and established local Toronto artists and designers. We will also provide articles and coverage of special events related to the fashion and entertainment industry. Filthmag.net is set to launch April 2007.

they aren't very good at posting on the official website. The Toronto fashion weeks never have great photography, I find. They don't have great lighting and a central photographer like ny etc do. Sometimes each designer will post photos on their websites but I've found some photos at hype1.com

i was helping out backstage for Zoran Dobric
though...i wasnt exactly helping out much as to just roamed around backstage to see how everything worked and stuff.
i really like his men's wear

Izzy Camilleri definately rocked the week!
Comrags left me DEPRESSED.
GSUS Sindustries was a fun show but, you know? It's more... athletic wear so meh
Dean and Dan made an appearance so that was awesome.
and I love love loveee Zoran Dobric!

There is still room for a lot of improvement but let's consider the fact that the Ontario government completely ignores the fact that Fashion Design is an art form as well and that OUR DESIGN students require funding too. Let's also consider the fact that Fashion week is run by sponsors and that the FDCC is non-profit organization.

I think it gets better every year. It was great!
