i saw that a few days ago and i was slightly disappointed, there are many great pieces, especially the lace ones, but aside from that, it's so repetitive to the point of becoming rather tedious to look at. for me anyway.

Are there any close-ups of them? They look like cityscapes or maybe alien robots

A lot like past collections really....much preferred the fw06 collection..... I think the eclectic mix that Chisato designs is starting to look a little tired for me.

Very cute! I like the graphics a lot. Also the trompe l'oeil top and the striped things. I'm not so big on the long dresses (too hippy) and the lace (reminds me too much of chloe, i'm so tired of saying that.)

There is a lot going on in this collection, I like the more simple (in color usage) pieces (especially post #2 and #3). The hats and headwear is nice, though, it seems a lot of people are doing them this season.

This is not really my thing, but something in it is adorable. Maybe it's because I've liked Chisato before.

The issue with Tsumori is that the shapes never change. She uses new prints but it can get very repetitive...

What can I say? I buy from her every season just because she fits Asians like a dream...

Problem is, the kind of prints and shapes she uses easily gets replicated on similar designs by HK retailers like Azona, Kitterick etc.

that's EXACTLY what i was thinking Susie!

Cute and extremely wearable designers that are awww inducing. Similar to previous seasons i know but cute all the same. Only problem is, that others (ie. high street) can easily copy this formula and produce much the same for cheaper prices.

I'm not sure how Chisato would evolve however-?
I know that other designers or stores are doing the pinafores, cute prints and oversized muu-muu dresses because it is abit of a trend, but Chisato does it because that is the essence and personality of the label itself.

Tsumori Chisato always leaves me feeling satisfied. She has a formula, and it works to the degree that I appreciate more than just the differences between one season and the next... There are some designers whose trademarks I can name as easily as I tire of them, but Tsumori Chisato is never too garish, tacky or any of those negatives I'd attribute to a lesser favorite.
