Was really excited that Crystal was on the cover but this isnt doing it for me, their just going for shock value and I hate the Marilyn Manson vibe with the bleached brows, the pics inside of her are much better than the covers. Elizas edit is pretty awesome, love the neon affects

Those covers just make me wonder what Helmut Newton would have done with Crystal, because for me, she doesn't quite suit von Unwerth's style.

In her photographs, even when the model looks every inch the vamp, there's always a spirit of sauciness - a feeling that a game is being played - whereas Crystal's sensuality is of a more formidable nature, slower and more serious, and here, it hasn't conveyed the sense of frolic that would lift the editorial into being fun to look at.

She's a great girl, but for me, this isn't the way to shoot her, it doesn't bring out her best.
