Ralph Lauren's newest face

What's it like to work with Ralph?
Like getting a green card! Even better.

Are you recognized on the street?
This is my second season doing castings, and when I go in they say, ''That's the Ralph Lauren girl!''

Did you always have modeling ambitions?
I grew up in Kenya, then Canada. A few people approached me, but I was never very into it - and my dad was not a fan of the idea! I would love to work with the UN, helping kids in third world countries.

You were recently featured in Italian Vogue, right?
Steven Meisel was wonderful. I was very nervous meeting him, but the shoot only took five minutes.

What's your plan after this week?
I'm skipping London, and going to Milan and Paris, and then after that it's campaign season! There's no stopping, I guess!

How do you relax?
Steam room. It's the ultimate.

What are your beauty secrets?
I eat almonds, and I drink lots and lots of water. I use Egyptian Magic, a body cream from Whole Foods - Valentina (Zelyaeva) told me about that.

How does your family feel about your modeling now?
I Skype them every night. My dad tells me to eat every time I talk to him! But they're happy - they're happy that I'm happy. I have the most wonderful, beautiful family.''
