I'm sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo happy!!!!!!! I'm a huge Bayern fan!!! (as well as my whole family, so it was so fun to watch with my grandpa.) It was a good match!

Well the Plastic Chelski fans can be ecstatic as much as they want, they better be praying for an easy team for the QF because if they get Real Madrid, Barcelona or Bayern; they're definitely out.

I was so disapointed that Napoli didn't make too.
But you can't win in the UCL with that awful defense.
I think my beloved team: Milan can take anyone as long as they recover their key players: Boateng, Pato, Nesta, Abate.
I do agree both Spanish teams are one level above the rest, but games are 90' and anything can happen.
The draw is in 3 hours, so I'll be back to discuss the match ups. My predictions are:
Chelsea-Barcelona
Milan-Bayern
Madrid-APOEL
Marseille-Benfica

Bayern vs OM

my girl is french, and OM is the team you root for if you are from the south
and or hate PSG. but still, Bayern should have this easily
Winner: BAYERN

Benfica vs Chelski

don't like them but they are playing better now under new coach. Chelsea will win but Benfica will make it tough for them. Winner: Chelsea

Real Madrid vs APOEL

would have been a better match up APOEL vs OM and Bayern vs Real Madrid but the football gods seem to want a Barça vs Real Madrid Final and therefore made it easier for Real Madrid to reach the final......

This will either be a blow out, or a close game in favor of Barcelona.

well, he could beat Barca with Inter because Inter didn't have this trauma like Madrid do when having to play against Barca. I really believe it's mostly psychological why Madrid never seem to be able to show up when playing against Barca. Let's see if Madrid will be able to beat Bayern in the Half-finals...

I believe Barca will beat Milan without any troubles and Chelsea as well...

The final will either be: Barca - Bayern OR Barca - Madrid !

Yeah Madrid's problem is psychological but I don't know if Mou can repeat with Madrid what he did with Inter, specially because he hasn't been capable of making a versatile team out of Madrid like Inter was under him.
I don't know if Barca will knock out Milan (I hope not) but Milan will not go down without putting a fight, very happy with the result today considering Milan was playing with their sub defense and Nesta coming of a long injury.

Barça vs Chelsea

Chelsea is still not the Chelsea of a couple of years ago.
look at the Premiere League Table
they are 5th behind Tottenham. Drogba is not as sharp as he was.
Torres has been a flop, (andy carrol even worse at liverpool)
they are playing better now, but if Mata and Lampard are neutralized,
game over.

Barça will win this one, even easier than Milan.
Mou called it too. Barcelona in final.


Bayern vs Real Madrid

this will be the interesting match up. Real Madrid beat who, APOEL.
but the sick trio of Ribery, Mario Gomez, and Arjen Robben may prove too much for them. i think Bayern have a very solid team. to qualify they went through filthy rich Man City and Napoli. they humilated Basel and swept aside OM. Real has been doing well against small teams, but i don't think they will get through, and if the referees help them win, Barcelona have their number.

As much as I would have loved to see Real in the final, I'm glad its Bayern because I really don't think the current Chelski team can beat the current Bayern team.

It's so sad to read how we all predicted Barca would beat Chelski but how wrong were we Barca didn't turn up for the Chelski match and worse still, neither did Lionel Messi who had the chance to shine. I think Chelski were very lucky because on any given day, Barca could have trashed them easily but the recent run in defeats hasn't helped the mentality of the Barca players I think.

I'm super looking forward to the final now.

I've been a BM fan since I was two and the match yesterday was so good. I'm sad for Bayern but I'm happy for Chelsea at the same time, these guys desearved it!
