Naomi Campbell to Guest-Star on "Ugly Betty"?

ABC has announced that real-life supermodel, Naomi Campbell will be guest-starring on the Golden Globe Award winning series Ugly Betty sometime later this season.

Naomi sounded off today about her new gig: "On Ugly Betty I'll play a loony who loves to shop and can't find a man. I like that sort of role." Correction, NC -- you are that role. America F. better watch out, this b*tch bites.

Naomi pleaded guilty to misdemeanor assault charges in Manhattan Criminal Court on Tuesday. The charges, which carried a penalty of up to seven years, resulted from an incident last March in Naomi's New York home in which she admits hurling a cellphone at her housekeeper -- subsequently cutting her in the back of the head.

Just bought the whole season on iTunes and spent the last week watching all of it! I love it! So fun, silly and colorfull. I love the most recent twist. I love that the characters are just as crazy and dramatic as the Spanish TV Soap the dad is always watching. Amanda and Marc's facial expresions are the best!

Lucy Liu and Jerry O'Connell To Guest Star on Ugly Betty

LOS ANGELES (January 29, 2007) -- Lucy Liu and Jerry O'Connell are about to get "Ugly" for ABC.

Liu and O'Connell will guest star on ABC's hit comedy "Ugly Betty," Access Hollywood has learned.

Liu will appear in a two-episode arc, while O'Connell will guest star in an upcoming episode of the Golden Globe winning sitcom.

Liu will play Grace Chin, a.k.a. "The Chin," a formerly frumpy college classmate whom Daniel Meade once stood up on a date. When Daniel needs Grace's help with a pressing family matter, he learns that she has a long memory. Her first episode, "Derailed," will air on February 15 on the network.

O'Connell will also guest star in the "Derailed" episode. He'll play Joel, a man Alexis Meade (Rebecca Romijn) meets while slumming in a sports bar with Wilhelmina Slater (Vanessa Williams).

i would of preferred if the programme had a darker and more cynical point of an outsiders view- like in the movie welcome to the dollhouse. i got bored halfway through the second episode- the redeeming factor is the family half of the programme- i dont really care for the fashion magazine side...
