It's like they got a photo from a press shoot and decided to run it. Hollywood Reporter / The Edit does better shoots than this.

The cover had a lot of potential, soft neutral tones, some windswept hair, and Emma's natural beauty. Yet it still falls somewhat flat. There's too much empty space here.

All that said, I'll still take it! It's certainly much better than her last cover.

I think she looks beautiful, I love how fresh her make-up looks. I even like the messy hair. That being said, the image doesn't quite work for me. The pose is a little awkward. I just appreciate the soft neutral tones though.
