These are bad covers, nothing stands out : neither the people nor the photography itself.

The contrast between the white backgrounds and the red cursive fonts is nice. Not a great set of covers but my favorite features Lola Young.

90's Elle was great, it had its own point of view, separate to Vogue, and somewhere you'd see different models like Vivienne Westwood's muse Sara Stockbridge, and Susie Bick.

And while I'd seen her before in The Face, UK Elle was the first proper fashion magazine I can remember Kate Moss appearing in, a portrait shot that was so beautiful, I taped it to my bedroom wall.

Alexa Chung on the cover of British Elle will always and forever have my heart. The October 2008 subscribers cover by Karen Collins remains one of my most favourite of UK Elle covers - ever!
