It's beautiful and pure but please give Daria some make up! Last years we see her skin naked all the time.

She looks amazing on the subscriber's cover, wait to see the newsstand's.

She does have makeup on... bare skin doesn't look like that.

Really looking forward to seeing what Shades of Beauty is like (especially with Leila and Olya on board).

Regarding Daria, make-up and photoshop, I prefer her the Pop way. But there is an alternative to both extremes: her looks in french Marie-Claire (two months ago or so if I'm not too mistaken), she was just perfect there.

Looking forward to seeing Shades Of Beauty as well! Especially bc of Leila  But I really love the whole cast (ari, aecia, kris, olya)

Beautiful cover of Daria and what a nice surprise!

Newsstand Cover & Cover Story Preview:

No!!! That cannot be the final cover. I cannot accept that layout. My goodness, borders on text? Really? And that out of place red!

The cover shot is STYNNING, but it looks like a cheap cover because of the layout. No.

the layout is completely wrong but somehow I really love the cover shoot  very sixties.

The only thing I don't like is the white on white fonts, had they used black or red it would have been prefect. I still prefer the newsstand though. She looks real not like a painting as she does on the subscriber.

 That description does not paint a pretty picture:

harpersbazaar.co.uk/fashion/fashion-news/news/a36773/daria-werbowy-may-issue-cover-star-interview

She arrives late to our shoot in a Barcelona studio, tanned and lean, tattooed with talismanic symbols (including two anchors to commemorate sailing across the Atlantic with her father), toting a nylon rucksack, casually dressed in jeans and a hoodie with a bruised lip and unbrushed hair, but compelling and sensuous nonetheless; a charismatic force, formidably physical at 5'11", unashamedly vocal, completely irresistible. If Daria Werbowy is doing anything, it's exactly what she wants – even being here with a hangover, having stayed up most of the night before to drink beer and watch Madonna perform live. She throws herself into the day with commitment and a calm energy – as you think she must with the rest of her life – collaborative, laid-back but focused, checking the photographer's digital monitor to see if her angles could be improved, yet otherwise not much bothered by vanity. 'I lose context of what I look like in pictures,' she says at one point. 'I feel totally detached. The person in them is completely foreign to me. It's very strange.' She moves unselfconsciously to the music that plays in the background (a mix of reggae, relaxed house and soft Seventies rock; her choice). Her armpits are unshaven, her fingers raw from sea salt. It only adds to the considerable allure.

Must admit that I'm not overly fond of the layout on the newsstand cover either. The starkness of the image didn't require those white fonts, washing it out even more, IMO. There are a handful of shots from Daria's cover story which would've worked way better, complemented by some coloured fonts! Nonetheless.. definitely not the image that is the problem but Bazaar's cover layout, which I'm surprised about.

I can't decide if this is glowing praise of Daria, like "look at how formidable and impressive a model and woman she is, look at how she transforms before the camera", or if it's a self-congratulatory pat on the back to HB as if to say "this is how she turned up and all our hard work made her look this amazing."

I want to go with the first point.

^ or, "we're pissed off that she showed up late so let's write this about her"
