Actually not bad, nice to see Sophie here. Shame she didn't land something bigger cover-wise.

She's lovely in motion but she can't seem to pull it off in a still image. The cover looks like it took quite a bit of work to achieve. The editorial is weak, it's obvious that they didn't put as much effort into it.

So true!! She's dressed exclusively in Louis Vuitton, so that may be part of the reason. I like the opening shot, but that's it. The rest can look forgettable, and the cover is ruined by the art direction.

She always looks dead in the eyes to me.

The covers are improving from the recent monstrosities they've been putting out, but the actual content is total rubbish. I bought it last month when it was £1.99 to read on the train..total waste of money, both editorial and content-wise. A few years ago MC used to be one of the best UK womens magazines, its a literal non-entity these days. Can't believe I used to have a subscription -_-

Apparently the beauty and fashion teams are now 'hubbed' with and have to produce work for Woman & Home and Look magazine.

It might be the end...

You're joking!!

If that's the case, when will Trish wake up?? Or is she seriously just going through the motions? She's putting all these girls on the cover who won't sell, and who social media people don't care about. The art direction looks trite. Fair enough they can still get the big brands on board, like they've done with Louis Vuitton, but the execution lack excitement.

David Roemer actually produced some of this magazine's best covers over the past few years, so not sure what happened here.

the fact the teams are 'hubbed' with other titles, is never a good sign. i've actually been enjoying some of their recent covers, especially the Kirsten Dunst cover, and i though their Britney cover last year actually came together really well? But the stark contrast between their cover choices month to month makes me think they have no real formula, just giving random choices a go.
