UK Marie Claire May 2012 : Cheryl Cole

^ I was wondering the same thing, but I think Girls Aloud are reuniting or whatever later this year, so maybe they're trying to hype it up.

She has her own solo album out before then I believe, so it's probably tied into that.

I think due to the sort of levels she rose to in UK celebrity terms she's always going to be somewhat relevant. She was with X-Factor when it gained the highest figures, she sold countless magazines for various publications, not to mention selling a decent amount of music and all based on who she was. I don't think anyone's under any illusions that she's a musical icon, but I personally always found it interesting that it was her persona that made her such a huge part of our recent pop culture and not what she was doing as such.

Im so happy and im so buying this. she looks lovely. she is going to have a new album released this year.

She has such a great personality, its a shame she looks a bit lifeless on this cover. I actually prefer the shoot she did in Stylist this week, where she looked a bit tougher and edgier.

This will sell, which is what Marie Claire needs.

I believe its promoting her shoe range.

the only bad thing i dislike about this cover is the tagline about cheryl. i hate it when they put some stupid/plane quote that has nothing to do with the rest of interview and ed...everything else - perfect.
and this is the newsstands cover right?

I like her but I'm not feeling this cover, its a little boring really.

She has a new single out on the 20th April so it could be for that.

I hope her eyes look that black in the HQ version of the cover. Hot. Despite the atrocious dress.

:heart:gorgeous!!
Always lovely to see Cheryl. This is the way she should be styled, her InStyle cover (last year?) was a bit of a mess but this is just perfection.
Will be purchasing for sure!

i still cant get it - is it greenish or yellowish? (the background)

Perhaps this ought to be pinned to Cheryl's future threads. To remind people that Cheryl is relevant, regardless of personal opinions on the woman. Anyway.. horrendous cover.

^ Well, it's hard to be aware of how relevant she is these days when you don't actually live in the UK and aren't constantly seeing .gifs of her from the X-Factor used everywhere.

thanks for scanning
Oh my god i cant wait to hold this in my arms, and gently move my fingers over this cover!!!!
