Don't know who she is, but I must have this! She's got such great cheekbones, this is really the kind of beauty I prefer.
The cover doesn't look like Marie Claire at all, which is good. So far I'm on board with this redesign. Bring on the change. With that said, I do wonder how receptive their existing readers will be to this indie-looking vibe.

I also like this aesthetic shift (wasn't last issue already in the same style?), it almost look like an italian magazine cover. If the background was white, this would have been a total reminiscence of old-school Amica covers.
In no way does that look appeal to me, but I like their bravery in going for something different as part of this redesign. Short hair against a sludge-coloured background isn't something that speaks to me, but it does hold the promise that the contents might not be so formulaic, so I'm very interested to see what they've done. And I did like the Britney issue.
