Martha Lane Fox: the fighter
Charlotte Rampling: the sophisticate (styled by guest fashion editor Alexander McQueen)
Tilda Swinton: the maverick

This issue also carries the second annual edition of the Motorola-sponsored The Vogue List - "the definitive top 100: the trends, the people, the places and our predictions for the year ahead". The shift dress makes it onto the list as the most coveted fashion item, Burberry's Christopher Bailey for fashion's glory year, Freja Erichsen, Sasha Pivovarova and Solange Wilvert are the models, Elton John and David Furnish are the married couple, the hoodie is the item we still love and white is the colour of the year.

This issue is actually quite good and the Gwyneth pictures are dreamy.
On a side note, does anybody know whom is on the cover of the next issue;Jan U.K Vogue? - I'm hoping it might be SJP, as her film comes out here in the U.K mid December.

I can't comprehend how, out of all the pictures they took of her, they would pick that as the cover. (Same goes for numerous other publications.)
She seems so angrogynous, but not in the good way. And doesn't she ever really smile???? It seems like it has been such a long time I've seen her show teeth...
I'm being rude...

I swear Vogue use Gwyneth when they don't have anyone else better to use for a cover.....along with Nicole Kidman.

The cover is bad and not to mention extremely boring. I don't understand why anyone would put red headers and a white background with her colourings and with what she is wearing. It just emphasises rudy tones in her skin. In my opinion the top/dress is very boring too, would have preferred casual clothes on her more.
