I personally love the interiors. I wish I could take a look of it in person. :flower:

Oh...I come back from HK and Undercover opens up....how annoying!

Can't wait to see it in person. Hehe....I can hear the 'Ooohs' and 'Ahhs' of HK fanboys all the way from here.

thanks for the photo Honey~Blade

Do you know where is it located in HK? Looks like it's on some unknown street hidden in the back somewhere...which is really cool. Is it in Central area? Maybe around D-Mop?

I wonder if this store is going to turn out to be just a shrine for his t-shirts and jeans...they might have to widen the street in the front so the kids have more room to line up out there

I'm curious...

I've seen lots of "streetwear" from Undercover (tees, sneakers, accessories) but every now and then something more along the lines of true menswear pops up with brand Undercover; are they the same or two different companies/designers?

there are under cover and undercoverism. I think under cover is the line gear more to streetwear. I think Jun collabrates with other people a lot of time on his under cover label...creating limited edition Ts and stuff. Undercoverism is more a "collection" line. Am I right guys?

Buckwheat I think the store is located a street up from the G store there. I remember seeing it on the map on some website, but I cant recall all the details.

i really don't know why is undercover opening a flagshop in HK would be that controversial, ok it's the first shop out of japan, but "a revolutionary shock in the global fashion world" as mentioned in the article... ...are u joking me? that's what the common HK mag would state...

Thanks Honey~Blade. Ah I missed this too now that I'm back from Hk. Wonder what they'll carry. Mostly tee's I'm guessing..

Buckwheat I think you're right - his tailored suits are under the 'Undercoverism' line. However I'm not entirely sure what the other ones ('Undakovrit', 'Undakovrist', 'Undakovr') entail..

Actually,I think Undercoverism is his menswear and his streetwear stuff. Under Cover is the main line which is for women.

i heard it's one-year limited store which means it will disapprea this time next year
is it true?

...that would be interesting, but if that's the case they went through alot of trouble decorating it :p

Yeah it would make more sense to make this a permanent, or at least long-term project...unlike the Guerrilla stores, which in concept was only a temporary thing all over the world anyway.

I wonder if they will carry the more avant-garde, "fashion" items such as the more elaborate pieces Joyce carries, thus basically kicking Joyce out of the picture in Undercover distribution in HK. Although the market for this kind of stuff, based on what I see anyway, seems to be mostly for the casual pieces, like print/one-off tees, jeans and sneakers. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I get the impression many Undercover fans in HK are not so much in it for the design, but rather to have a few tees they could wear with the latest Levi's, or maybe a pair of jeans at the most since UC denim is very expensive.

There are some fashion pieces in store I think, but mainly for women. Yay but most of the stuff in there is going to be tees, hoodies and the like and probably sneakers...

Okay I checked the scans from kix-files again and here are some more pages from Milk.

A tee...

Thanks for the scans, Honey~Blade. The prices look pretty reasonable compared to the States, and I like the graphics on this season's tees as well as the wrinkled M-65. The womens is also looking very good...
