^ Thanks! I thought this issue was glorious form the cover to all the models & photographers featured & the editorials. The models they featured in the 80s where wonderful. It was the best magazine .... once!

I love how ELLE during the 80s, 90s celebrated Racial Diversity.

Yet today, 2 decades on, we must demand it and expected to applaud and jump up and down when we actually get the carrot!


What is our excuse NOW ?


I really miss the sophisticated yet playful, worldly, blithely bold attitude that's the antithesis of today's US ELLE and hyper-self-aware (magazine) world in general.
