What an eyesore of a cover shoot. How naive I was to believe Carlos Nazario would be the saving grace of this magazine under Samira Nasr. Not even sure on where to start on the photography from Anthony Seklaoui. The first cover legit looks like Dua Lipa was shot inside a miniature doll house.

^^^ Carlos Nazario is no different than Law Roach. Law may be the better one on a good day, frankly.

Useless photography. Shame, cuz Dua is a very pretty woman. With actual talents to shoot and style her, her potential was always there

Dua Lipa never seems to work with anyone to create fashion imagery that'll stand the test of time.

At this rate, people are going to look back at Billie Eilish or Sabrina Carpenter's cover stories and consider them iconic, while most of Dua Lipa's magazine shoots will look like five-second instagram posts.

At least the UK version seems to be getting the better cover shot.

She is a beauty. Thank god…
It’s a good thing that Samira and Carlos are supposed to represent that new, hot, disruptive generation that is supposed to serve us the fresh, new thing that the old people from Vogue can’t do…

Once again, September issue: where’s the fashion? Where are the hot collections from the FW season? And out of everything she could have worn, she is wearing that….

Choices, again!

I agree with you. It seems that his contributions to US Harper's Bazaar have been going downhill.

I didn't expect something as tacky from Samira.
LOL I guess she can give more than just boring.

People give him way too much credit in general across his career. His work is basic at best and always feels like it wants to be more than it actually is. For some reason he’s skated past with little to zero criticism even though overall his work isn’t amazing enough to garner the praise it does.

Anytime I see something branded with Chanel now (second cover) it just makes me think of the Real Housewives.

I like Dua Lipa but I do not like this type of random photography. The second US Harper's Bazaar cover with the red masthead is the best. I think the red adds the much needed spice to a rather boring photo. The UK version with the gold masthead is giving me bedtime at a luxury hotel vibes.

When Harpers Bazaar is your personal Instagram account feed lol.
Dua of course looks gorgeous, but I’ve seen instagram posts that are way more interesting that this whole editorial.

Tacky trash shoot : FIRE SAMIRA !!!! That woman is not a good editor, everything she has done for this magazine is bad, boring, useless. Say what you will be Glenda was colorful, funny and had a vision that was campy, GLAM and fun. This is just nothing.

Beyond true!
