Flicking through the digital edition, it's showing as 248 pages, but there must be a lot of fold-outs, because the actual print page count seems to be 228 pages.

I like all the fashion editorials but "Shape Shifting" by Jody Rogac is my absolute favorite. From the model to the radical fashions, it all looks and works perfectly. Just love everything about it.

As always, Vincent van de Wijngaard's ed is the highlight of the issue. His work is my favorite thing about Samira's Bazaar.

Italian and French Bazaar needs to snatch him up. He belongs with them where his shoots will be given the deserved double-page spread and generous pagecount for every select, accompanied by the masterclass layout. It's just painful to see his efforts diminished by the amateur layout of this Bazaar.

I love Shape Shifting too, very 80s Comme/Yohji. The van de Wijngaard ed is nice but I believe they wanted to do Cuba without having to go through all that hassle, I normally wouldn’t associate Mérida with that derelict tropical mood.

The September issues have genuinely been quite decent so far. I really like Julien and Vincent's edits, although I have no doubt that the art direction in the actual mag is terrible and potentially ruins all appeal in the latter story. Some of the shots there remind me a bit of Lorca diCorcia's Havana story with Guinevere from W which is certainly no bad thing .
