The Subscriber cover is nice while the newstand cover is a total disaster

I really like it actually. As far as a Harper's newstand cover goes it's not bad really, and the sub's is a great shot. I don't really get the Jennifer hate a lot of the time. She gets a lot of covers, but that's because she clearly sells. My only beef with her is that I wish she'd show she can actually act a bit more. Films like The Good Girl & Friends With Money proved that she can. Just quit with all with the rather bad rom-coms..

I'm at a bit of a loss why exactly she's done a Streisand themed shoot however, has she worked with her recently or something? It looks great, and yeah she does look really like her! I'm just not sure I've fully grasped the 'why' yet..

Then I saw the NS cover. For crying out loud Glenda would you just quit it with all the oversized fonts. It's beyond a joke.

My sub has finished but I will be getting this if the rest of the contents is good.

Bazaar ups the ante by having one celebrity posing as another celebrity!

The subscriber's cover is fantabulous!!!! The ed pictures look very promising (love the head shot with the hat), can't wait to see larger versions of them. Jennifer Aniston looks quite good on the newsstand cover as well.

I have the same question! Barbara is still alive... then why they haven't chosen her for this story?

I don't think that has anything to do with it... BB is alive but there've been hundreds of editorials, etc about her...

Well actually Aniston for me is as exciting as eating chalk with curry but I really like whole Barbara thing... I think she pulled it really well...

I dont think she’s ugly in that spread… she's really cute, however, I don’t think she has the right face structure to do side profile shots, or the right type of attitude to pull it off.
Jen would have pulled it off if she didn't get her nose job done a few years bac…..

I like the covers.
Newsstand has too much text of course, however the actual shot is beautiful!
She does look totally different, which I have to say is great, as so many mags just go straight for that 'natural, bohemian' look of hers.
If we're going to see Jennifer Aniston on a major cover AGAIN, i'm glad it's like this!
The 'Funny Girll' concept is great considering that was always her role in pop culture - way before her private life became so exposed.

ps: That Vogue cover of Streisand is lovely, but she has also been on few HB covers, im surprised they dont mention that in the video on the site.

Ah, you're right. Although I don't think she had one from the 'Funny Girl' period, which is why I posted the Vogue one.
