I think it's because she's an artist now, and has recently had some shows. So press can position it as a "new chapter" kind of thing.

I saw the editorial and it was stunning not sure why they chose this cover image. She always delivers in print.

To be honest, this is the first cover of InStyle in a very long time that I've immediately liked the look of. I miss the days of Laura Brown's InStyle, and this resembles something Brown might've given us - so I'll happily accept. Always a one for Sharon Stone, love the colours here and how she's styled... don't even mind the pose.
