This is the standout ed for me in this issue - and it has nothing to do with the excellent cast. For me - it's all about the fabric. Especially the florals. Note the use of Of Abraham and Gandini Fabric in the editorial. These were the fabrics that YSL and Ungaro were using. Gandini is still operating today last time I checked. Of Abraham were responsible for Balenciaga's silk gazars. Shut down in 2003.

Great issue, really love seeing Gia and Beverly here and all the models were so expressive. I have a soft spot for 80s YSL and I like seeing the transition from one decade to another in fashion.
