I love the lot of super wearable stuff around in this issue and the more modern feel that finally hit V US in very late 90s...
...but also it's because Fall 2000 season is one of my favorites ever, so the clothes are just that good. The cover shot of Carmen by Meisel is one of my fav V US editorials, though the styling on the Chalayan suit on the index page is so bad - one other mag around that period did style it leagues better (it was Wallpaper). I have soft spot for location shots from V US by Meisel - they feel simpler than his conceptual shots for V Italia but they are still incredibly pleasant.
Meier and Klein's editorials are great, though the other Meisel shot isn't not my favorite of him - I despise his US Vogue studio shots a lot. It would be better with white background for me tbh.
