Just so random)??? It was common practice back then, and they followed this template over and over. I’m just racking my brain trying to understand the marketing decision for such a weird practice… Were readers not turned off to see someone they may have liked on the cover only to find that-- that’s it: Just the cover and nowhere else in the content? The coverline even has “Jane Fonda: A Special Interview” LOL ...So very odd…
