One of my all time favorite editorials!
The lighting is brilliant! I have an old 'American Photographer' magazine with that opening shot of Janice.
It describes how these photos were taken in broad daylight using a strobe, but Watson deliberately underexposed the background to create that moody nighttime look.
Albert Watson is a genius!

WOW, I've always seen these two photos credited as Gia Carangi! They're really Lisa Vale?

That first picture doesn't look like Gia's modeling style.
My guess is that it is Lisa as she is in the other shots from the editorial.
A closer look at the second picture makes me think it's Gia. Looks like her.
That would be her only picture in that editorial.

Agreed. The site credits Gia on both photos, but I'm pretty sure it's Lisa, too.
