don't listen to Sabrina Carpenter, I don't know her songs...but I don't understand all these negative comments about the cover and the service.... it's a wonderful cover, bright, impactful (remember the last years of Vogue USA? with amateur photographers and bland covers) we have Meisel, we have an editorial full of photographs!! would a photographer like Cass Bird or Tyler Mitchell have been better?

Juan Costa Paz' era was weird, they experimented a lot with newer photographers but most of the time the results were mixed. Also the imagery was much much more casual and devoid of any glamour.

When Raul Martinez came back, suddenly photographers like Mikael Jansson, Meisel, Mert and Marcus & Inez and Vinoodh started shooting again for US Vogue. So i guess we can thank Raul for that...

I was expecting more because she's always so full on and this looks more subdue but I like it... I think that the editorial is far better than the cover though.

The idea of a Madonna-inspired Vogue editorial shot by Meisel for a March issue should be the stuff of dreams, but I look at this cover story and I like the idea of it, but in terms of the actual images, I've seen more engaging ad campaigns for Guess.

I got to enjoy Madonna x Meisel when times were good for both of them, so I can't help but compare. For someone who didn't have that, maybe this is the next 'best' thing, but we're a long way away from those shoots that made the original actors, singers and celebrities into legends.

When I first started accumulating buying magazines, what did they represent to me? They were a window into another world.

But if I had to sum up magazines now? Mundane. Drab. No depth to make the photography interesting, and no stardust to make the people seem special.

I don't mind Sabrina at all, but for God's sake, make her look like she's a force of nature and on top of the world, rather than working a side hustle as the world's 143rd most successful Madonna impersonator.

Never expected that team for Vogue... In theory it's nice, not so much in practice. It's a shame, though, because I do enjoy some pics.

Everything that made those Meisel x Madonna collaborations so fabulous, is missing from this.

Where is the elevated glamour, the risk taking, the larger than life myth making? I guess that is too much to ask for in 2025…

What a pleasant surprise to see Sabrina Carpenter on US Vogue's March 2025 cover by Steven Meisel. I absolutely love everything about the cover, especially, the pin-up/Madonna inspiration. Sabrina is a stunner and this cover is stunning. Also, the photographs inside of the issue are wonderful as well. Overall, I think that the photo shoot is very well executed in all areas. Finally, I am so glad that Beyonce is not on the cover after all.
