One of my favorite Vogue issues from that era. I especially loved the Jean Shrimpton Chanel ad, and I loved the beach editorial photos with Rene Russo. In particular I have always remembered that shot of Rene Russo in the wet, see-through shirt--with her hair slicked back, those full lips, and those striking cheekbones!--because it reminded me of Sophia Loren in that famous photo of Loren from Boy on a Dolphin. Rene's bone structure was/is an architectural marvel (as is Sophia's).

Thanks for posting these old Vogues (and Harper's Bazaars, and other fashion mags)--such a great trip down memory lane
