I just couldn't help myself, if it's already been posted before, mod's please delete it, but I searched and couldn't find it.
Reminds me of last year when she was shot by Demarchelier and everyone thought it was for Vogue, but it was for Glamour
I really could never see Anna putting Britney on Vogue again, but I would definitely be open to it.

I used to have that issue, it was great. I remember the ed KK and Liya had in that issue. I usually keep all my Vogues but I must have thrown out some US Vogues once because I can't find that one or any others from 2001 anymore :(

^still such a fantastically creative and fun shoot. altho i think they could've done better on the beatles model look-alikes:innocent: carolyn's grunge ed was my favorite and i had it tacked to my bedroom wall in high school.

^ I've always loved kurkova as marilyn manson

 When I was uploading that picture I was thinking about how those models, when styled like that, looked like 12 year old boys in that picture.

2 mos. after the 9-11 attacks w/ Britney on the cover? I wonder how well it sold

wow! US Vogue was really good back then, they had celebrities on the cover... yet, they managed to release good issues

Britney looks great thanks ! I didn't know this cover :flower: So weird to see that 2001 is becoming vintage

Dunno but this issue really echoes the context and 9/11,unsurprisingly (considering the outburst of patriotism that followed) it's US-focused and filled with flags, so I guess it sold well..

I'm so sad when Anna said, this cover has failed to sell. So she decided not to put Britney again :(
